What is a national coordinator?

The national coordinator in a language program is the one who

 
  • provides a broad base of understanding in the national community for local language literacy programs
  • represents the benefits and potential of programs, and
  • liaises between local language literacy programs and

    • government ministries
    • development agencies, and
    • the national offices of international organizations and donor agencies.
