Summary
	Describes a 1968 Tanzania work-oriented adult literacy pilot project. The only literacy teachers available were those who had not finished primary school. Was decided that those who had completed less than Grade 7 were unable to be effective. Teachers were trained in
	agriculture animal husbandry health instruction arithmetic primer use general teaching principles class administration, and preparation and use of audiovisual aids and rural newspapers.
