TT Adopter takes orphan TrueType fonts and "adopts" them into a family of fonts, giving them a new home (a "suitcase") and a new name. This allows a set of fonts to work as a proper font family so it will be listed only once in application font menus and have each style (bold, italic, bold italic) available by choosing its name.
